Management of Golden Leopard Resorts acknowledges that, Tourists were badly affected and disappointed by the Industrial action that took place earlier this year especially in the Pilanesberg area, whereby there was no communication prior and that left all guests stranded and frustrated.
We acknowledge that, this event has created a lot of unhappiness, lack of trust and dissatisfaction from our guests, not only those mentioned but the entity also lost revenue and customers, and this has created a huge reputational damage.
Management hereby assures all guests that they will not lose their deposit paid. Guests have an option of either using their deposits for future bookings. GLR Management request that our guests kindly consider refunds as the last option, as we wouldn’t like to lose our guests due to this unfortunate situation. Guests will be given a period of a year to use their credit with GLR. If by any chance you have submitted a request for refund, kindly bear with us, as GLR is still recuperating from the industrial action we are unable to service all refunds at the same time. This exercise might take some time but we promise to communicate on an ongoing basis.
It is our wish to see this entity growing from strength to strength, and our aspiration is not to see ourselves losing guests as this might lead to job losses. Management is trying its best to ensure similar situation doesn’t happen again, in addition we are striving to rehabilitate the Resorts and lodges of Golden Leopard Resorts to bring it to its glory. Maintenance of the properties are a key priority at this stage and with your support we can achieve.
We are deeply committed to serving our guests and know that we have not lived up to that commitment. But our promise is to make things right and we have charted a course of action towards correcting all that is wrong.
